Some of the folks over at Hitmanforum picked up on mysterious, though not so subtle, image in a catalogue at the Sundance film festival: A box of doughnuts with a bar-code, already a hitman symbol, ending with a highlighted ’47’, the series protagonist’s code number. Beneath that is the incredibly confounding ‘hitmanseries.ru‘ in big print. The community at hitmanforums proceeded to contact the advertiser, only to receive more cryptic images; some paperwork, another bar-code and some all too familiar black gloves. If this is legitimate then this will be the first public acknowledgment from IO of a new hitman title.
