To be honest when you think about it, if you are a PC gamer, there is little reason to buy a PS4 or Xbox One, but the Wii on the other hand have a lot of good games that are quite different then we get on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, I’m surprised we don’t get more of the colourful games that the Wii gets but on other markets, surely there is a market there for those kind of games.

You know I just had a thought, if most or all games with that Xbox Play Anywhere works out, gamers can jump from PC to Xbox console without leaving their game library behind, giving the two gaming markets options which could be a big advantage over what Sony can offer.

The snivelling fear of the $ony Defense Force and eagerness to try switch topic to M$ is always hilarious.

Wow that’s nuts, a $200 card hitting 45fps with everything turned up. And I hear u, a 1080p game running @60 frames with everything maxed out (AA, shadows, higher textures detail etc) would look amazing. I know I’d luv to start playin ma games at 60 frame-rate. But ultimately I just want the choice to change settings, we just need devs to know this now…..make these consoles more like PCs! Lmao

Thanks Mark! Yeah, console settings/resolution presets really need to be a thing. NiOh’s a PS4 exclusive that apparently lets you choose between 1080p/30 and 720p/60. But I think the main issue is that the current crop of consoles struggles *at* 30 FPS, so the only options you’d have would be to lower your visuals even further. But Scorpio and PS4 Neo could be different–not everyone’s going to buy a new console just because it runs games at 4K, whatever MS and Sony’d like you to think. Neo and Scorpio make higher-resolutions viable, but developers could always leave the door open for more eye-candy at 1080p. P.S. you can hit roughly 45 FPS with everything maxed out on a $200 RX 480. I literally just benched the game for our 480 review a few hours ago 😛

The only console maker that makes good exclusives is Nintendo.
