I just seen a demo that blew my mind and it used mobile apps with the console. revolutonary cant wait to get a dev kit.

Disturbingly enough, and I hate to admit it, but they did a bang up job of porting Knights of the Old Republic (a decade old game) to the iPad. Even the controls work amazingly well. It will never replace my PC though 🙂

Seriously, those games have no fundamental value whatsoever with people only buying them cuz their cheap to play and they don’t require a lot of attention to them, it’s just stupid. Ever since the industry started putting a bigger focus on mobile, the industry has had major declines ever since and continue to use consoles as the scapegoat for the game industry’s decline. Worse games are being made because people who don’t know true value are being hired to make those games. It’s about time hardcore gamers started making games again, and on consoles/PC. Mobile games can take a joy ride to hell for all I care. As far as I know, I’m NEVER developing mobile games and developing like a true gamer would: on consoles and PC. Feel free to disagree: Everyone knows I’m right and just like Phillipe Morin, I wanna c consoles take center stage again so that games can go back to being just that: games.
