I know I have sen mock ups for IPAD 2 skins from developers as far back as December… So I’m willing to bet that they have had all their stock for the 2011 season made as far back as the end of February.

These things are made weeks before they are actually released. They probably had them made before the earthquake. They had the 360’s made 2 months before they released.
