iPhone 6s and 6s Plus Set Sales Records

Par for the course for iPhone, really.

The newest edition of the world’s best and most popular phone has set sales records in its first three days of release, Apple announced today- in its very first weekend, the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus have sold a staggering 13 million units worldwide. And this even though the phones are not yet available in all markets across the world!

“Sales for iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus have been phenomenal, blowing past any previous first weekend sales results in Apple’s history,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO. “Customers’ feedback is incredible and they are loving 3D Touch and Live Photos, and we can’t wait to bring iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus to customers in even more countries on October 9.”

The new iPhones bring with them a major spec bump for the iPhone line, as well as force touch in the form of 3D touch, which adds a new layer to your interactions with the UI. Clearly, people seem to be fans.
