Thu, 27 Jul 2017 18:17:00 +0000 hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=6.9.4 By: Turniplord https://gamingbolt.com/is-yakuza-7-going-to-be-announced-on-august-26#comment-336172 Thu, 27 Jul 2017 18:17:00 +0000 http://gamingbolt.com/?p=301857#comment-336172 First of all – the Dev’s haven’t talked about it coming to PC – they have always said that Yakuza is going to remain a Playstation Franchise and not come to PC or other formats (just like the Persona Devs regarding the numbered titles) – second, Yakuza did once jit Nintendo, 1 and 2 HD remasters came out in Japan on the Wii U – it sold about 3000 copies and since then they announce they wouldn’t take that risk again as they know the playerbase is on Sony’s platform.

People who want to play Yakuza know that they need to buy a playstation and they’ll be all set.

Personally I can see a 2 remake or PS2 classic being released and a 3, 4 and 5 remaster while they either work on 7 or start a new story with new characters in the same universe but a new city.

I would also like them to release the PS4 Japan only title in English – I have it in Japanese and it’s really good, just tricky to get into if you don’t understand Japanese.
