The Wii U isn’t a perfect system- no system is, so it’s unfair to hate on the Wii U for that reason. But one of the reasons people did hate on the Wii U was that you couldn’t play games off SD cards. Not really a reason to get mad at Nintendo, but people are weird.
Anyway, as it turns out, thanks to a technical loophole that Nintendo overlooked, you can play your games off SD cards.
YouTube user Shokio has discovered a simple workaround. All you need to do is insert your SD card in a USB card reader, provided you have one, and then insert this USB reader into your Wii U. The system just reads the USB reader as an ordinary external USB device and lets you play your games off the SD card.

Wii U owners have been reporting several freezing glitches as well. Check out the full story here.
