Jonathan Blow Details The Witness on PS4

Open world, 40 hours of playtime, and more, much more, from the eagerly anticipated upcoming indie game.

Writing on the Official PlayStation Blog, Jonathan Blow talked more about The Witness, his eagerly anticipated PS4 exclusive puzzle adventure game; a lot of the stuff that he talked about was new, and was pretty darned exciting.

For example, Blow claims that The Witness might be ‘the most intricate puzzle game ever made,’ though he is quick to point out that that is just a hunch on his part. He also talks about the sheer, staggering length and scope of the game (it was planned to be about eight hours long, but it ended up being 25-40 hours). The game itself is non linear, and allows the player to tackle it in any order they choose.

Graphically, Blow promises the game will be up to expectations- he promises that they are working to ensure that it looks as great as possible, and that aiming to get a solid, stable frame rate along with a streamlined loading process as well.

We will have more for you on this game as it develops.
