it does have good texture n lighting but shouldnt really be compared bc we all know kz3 took the graphics this year so far .. so lets all just wait what the future has to bring .. But as we all see this are just pictures so it doesnt mean its in game graphics no comparing soon

HOLY CRAP this looks amazing! I know Id will make a killer app in Rage that’s a game that i am eagerly waiting for. I’m anxiously waiting for KZ3 and very intrigue to see how this Rage game is gonna do, they both look similar in graphics. I can’t say one looks better than the other because i dont know what the final product for Rage is going to be. Also I can’t imagine it would fail, after all Id is a company that’s made what like 4 games, and they’ve all been good. They just have ridiculous development cycles but that’s cool with me, if every game they come out with is so great.

The styles for art in these games are different and therefore have their own merits in different areas. Graphically they are both very impressive games, and the message that both games are trying to get across the style of the graphics tells the tale.

One has a dark gritty rough feel and the other has a warmer slightly happier look.

I think looking better here is a matter of which kind of art style pleases the eye better.

It will blow your overheated mind.
You can definitely make graphical comparisons, as long the consoles have the right equipment.

Ehh, it’s too tough to tell for me. Rage’s atmosphere looks much brighter than Killzone’s. Rage looks sharper, but Killzone looks fluid. I think the Killzone art in these pictures are better than Rage too.

In my opinion, it’s useless to make any graphical comparison of a multiplatform game with Killzone 3. Obviously, Rage’s PC version can indeed surpass Killzone 3 graphics. But there’s no way that the console version will.
