Hilarious that the dev was allowed to get away with stating that in an interview without the journo going “They have the same amount of buttons so I’m not sure what your argument is here” or something like that to challenge the dev’s assertion.

In reply to RiftSilver. Exactly. DS4: 4 face, two shoulder, two triggers, L3, R3, options, trackpad, 4 D-pad directions. 16 inputs. Switch: 4 face, two shoulder, two triggers, left stick, right stick, plus, minus, 4 D-pad buttons. Again, 16.

As someone who should be knowledgeable about gaming devices. It disappoints me that you allowed the developer to make a false claim about the Switch having fewer buttons than the PS4 and Xbox. The device literally has the same amount of face buttons and even if the joy con setup didn’t. They have the Pro controller as well.

The Switch is selling crazy well right now and gamers are loving it. Third parties need to take notice and actually support the device. It’s crazy amazing and honestly. It’s not that much less powerful as the base Xbox One and it’s essentially a 6.2 inch tablet.

Third parties always used the excuse of user base with Nintendo. Nintendo not only has a crazy hit of a device. They have a device that can be played anywhere. They have a device that not only appeals to a broader audience, but to the core gaming crowd as well. No more excuses. It’s time to own up and put your games on this Nintendo platform.
