I have a 360 and all the forzas and i can tell you now yes they look decent and have good damage but i have never had an adrenaline rush and concentrated so hard on driving perfection in forza AT ALL this is where GT shines as a simulator 1 mistake such as simply breaking too early or late on just one corner makes the diference between win or lose on forza i spun out 3 times and still came first on the highest difficulty. pffft realism at its finest... :/

In reply to painfultimez. Why am I considered an idiot when my comments have nothing to do with locations and/or tracks? What I didn't like about GT 5 was the long load times and then you get to the track why would possibly want to race with competing cars that looked like the 800 did?

In reply to Echolocator. I totally agree. Sony should be ashamed. 7 new tracks then others via DLC. The entire game should contain all new tracks. For old tracks, go back to older games. Up to £40 for this? Think I'll pass.

They haven’t. The 800 standard cars are still there and it’s just been filled with all the DLC cars from 5.
This is lame and with only 7 new tracks, it’s just laziness or sloth from PD and Sony.

Gran Turismo 5 seemed to concentrate solely on the driving experience. The problem I had with it was actually getting to the driving. Long load times for menus that were essentially ugly and unintuitive. Then there was the immersion factor of having cars with crap graphics and no cockpit views. In the beginning 200 cars looked good, and 800 cars did not. The only thing I could think of at the time was – “We waited 5 years for this?” Forza 3 wasn’t even considered at that point because I didn’t start looking around until I had the opportunity. Why did I have that opportunity? Because I was waiting on GT 5 to load. Let us hope GT 6 has learned a few lessons.
