A new rumour suggests that the one of the games part of 2K Games’ multi-game deal with LEGO is a racing game dubbed LEGO 2K Drive. The game is rumoured to be under development with WWE 2K22 studio Visual Concepts, as indicated by a job listing from last year. The rumour comes courtesy of Shpeshal_Nick of XboxEra.
While the name of the game is still unconfirmed, rumours indicate that it is currently in development and is undergoing play testing. Images of LEGO 2K Drive have also popped up online, which you can check out below.
The images show off the game’s logo, title screen, several menus, and loading screens for some of the race courses.
Previous reports have spoken about the deal between 2K Games and LEGO to develop and release number of sports titles based on LEGO, with the first planned release being a football game developed by Sumo Digital, followed by an open-world racing game by Visual Concepts.
2K Games is yet to confirm any details about the racing game, including the release window and platforms. It is believed that the rumoured LEGO 2K Drive is slated for a 2023 release.
