I don’t see fake item boxes! And why don’t they steal the Freezie from Ice Climber and use it as an item to freeze an opponent. The ideas Nintendo never uses. Well, I guess that’s why they’ve been around so long. They don’t use all possible ideas at once.

In reply to Linley11. As far as this game is concerned, yeah. I do think there might be some scope for actual Gamepad usage in this game though- there was a track editor that was rumored for this game, which if true, would probably be one of the better uses of the controller that a Wii U game has made so far.

Hand gliders were first used in Mario Kart 7, not Wii.
