Mario+Rabbids: Kingdom Battle is a tactics and strategy game- which means that you need to be cognizant of each character, their abilities, their positioning on the battlefield, their limitations, their current status, and more, to do well.
Things get more complicated when you consider that each character can be further upgraded, via a skill tree, unlocking more abilities and techniques for them to use in battle, and even giving them specializations and roles in battle.
So, first, let’s discuss how you do this:
- Beat the first world (Ancient Forest) boss; doing so gives you 10 Power Orbs. Power Orbs are the XP equivalent of the game
- At this point, you can access the Skill Tree in the Battle HQ
- Each character has their own Skill Tree, and their own pool of Power Orbs to draw from
- Invest Power Orbs into abilities that catch your attention
