Fair enough, but my initial point stands true.

The only way you can run a game at 4k on the ps4 hardware is to limit the frames to like 20FPS. Sometime developers do this just to be the first. If later on when the programers get better sony could turn off this limit, but right now it will only end up making video games better for the consumers.

Xbox one is less powerful but didn’t limit the devleopers in that way as far as I know.

Just like how your average game is only 720p this generation, most games won’t be native 4k, but a lot might cheat and upscale to 4k.

Microsoft lets developer lie on the box. A game that renders at 720p and does a quick upscale to 1080p when it sends the info to teh tv is allowed to be called a 1080p game while sony doesn’t usually allow this type of stuff.
