The I originally played ME2 on 360 and other than long load times I don’t recall many bugs at all. However the ps3 version is full of minor bugs as listed in the above review. That being said, if you haven’t played this game before then don’t let the bugs put you off. The bugs aren’t game breaking by any means just minor irritants (except for the one time the frame rate dropped beyond usable for a minute or so). I didn’t play the dlc content before so for me the dlc that is included on ps3 makes it worth it. Also the ps3 version uses the new engine so I suspect ME2 on ps3 was used a test bed for that engine. All in all its a truly awesome game on either console.

I installed the save patch so I didn’t get the save glitch, but I’ve been having all sort of problems. Sound effects timing is generally off, framerate gets weird, there are lots of pop-ins, sometimes the sound turns off for a split second. Then one time Miranda was floating in mid-air, like she was standing on a crate that wasn’t there. Then there was an enemy who wouldn’t die. Its health was depleted and it didn’t shoot, but every time it would get shot it would stand back up and just stand there until someone in my squad shot it down again. And one time during Liara’s mission I was in control of the cab after a scene and I had no target, but it would slowly sink and no matter where I went I could pass through any surface and when the cab couldn’t go any lower some really glitchy things were happening when I tried to move the cab around. I had to quit the game. I bought this game new, by the way. It seems not everyone has these problems. If someone has a solution could you please let me know?

Definitely not what i expected i read on other sites mass effect 2 on ps3 was much better and looks much better . The bugs n gliths of course ismt a surprise thats whhy they havr patches.. But i played the demo and i like it but i think id take me a while to beat it fo the fact i like reading everything but twas interesting id play even though never pmayed he 1st one ..

8.0 seems real weak. I only played the Xbox one, but with the PS3 version coming with all the DLC? Shocked at this one, but I can’t disagree with the final boss battle. Waaaaaay too easy, with one massive cliffhanger to leave you with.

I also never experienced a single freeze or bug the graphics looked great and question to Sony haters how long will you not watch Sony’s blue ray movies on on your HD TVs enjoy your fancy DVD player that needs annual repairs. I’m going to play me2 then watch a blue ray and laugh. My Xbox will staying the attic for now. From the people who brought you vista and HD DVD lol. I have both the winner is clear. Ps3 is a beast

And was I the only one severely disappointed by the Kasumi mission? I even liked her character, but breaking into a rich person’s secret vault, then he attacks you in a large machine? Anywho, the glitches I personally experience, and I understand most don’t, really have taken a toll on my willingness to play it at times. Perhaps one of the odder ones was during the Thane loyalty mission following the Turian politican, when you get caught by the worker, and have to make an excuse, I answered with the paragon, he left, and my character just stood there staring at where he once was. I was unable to press anything, and shepard would just scratch his head and look around

I have both the 360 and PS3, both with their ups and downs, but i personally experienced basically everything he says here. Constant freezing, graphical glitches, the horrible pixels prevalent in Overlord, stupid AI. I don’t even have that old of a console, being an 80gb without backwards compatibility. My guess is perhaps he as well downloaded this on PSN, perhaps that is worse than the disk?

and did YOUR copy of ME2 on the pc have a comic book explaining the plot for me1?

Most of the glitches have been pacthed.

Who the fuck buys a game as soon as it comes out anyway?
