In reply to disqus_Htchuqvzae. BTW, Manveer Heir is a full on SJW judging by his public tweets. I could not even imagine trying to work with this jerk on a project that involves real conflict. I'm sure he was part of the reason the whole thing got tied up and slowed down so many times. Every little set piece was probably scrutinized for it's "safety".

Apparently every bad thing is the result of a lack of diversity. Cripes, give it a rest already. If anything, the PC police made the game worse by watering down any amount of conflict in the game. It was clear they were trying way too hard to be nice to the poor Krogan…boo-hoo. It’s universe of intergalactic struggle, but they changed it up and filled it with the gang from Scooby Doo in an effort to make sure there was no real conflict.

Nonsense. Cut out the homosexuality and have a more focused linear story line, and you would have had a great game. I still played through twice, ignored a lot of side quests and perverted relationships, and enjoyed the ryde(r).

Mass Effect andromeda wasnt an all white crew anyway, because i made an asian character!

sounds like EA will be using this as an excuse to nuking Visceral games Star wars to make open world microtransaction fest star wars. Why cant EA just do one thing right by the star wars franchise instead of building games with major incentives to purchasing loot crates and micros. Guess that $1billion or whatever EA paid for the rights is just another way for EA to screw another franchise

I don’t know to what extent the lack of diversification in the leadership added to the problems Andromeda encountered during the development. IMHO there was a problem of lack of common intents. IIRC at some point, before the launch of the game, the rumor that the different studios working on Andromeda were “disconnected” surfaced.
Unfortunately the game wasn’t as good as us ME fan hoped for, but the main problem with that is that probably the OG BioWare is no more.
