Got an LG TV with 3d for about 6 years and only really used it a few times in the first year. 3d is rubbish really. Only film that was really any decent was avatar.

Don’t really care about curved, seems useless sitting like 2-3 meters away.

Why not go for the c6 ? It’s just curved and HAS 3D. Sony will be coming out with their own OLEDs (panels from LG) in 2017 too.

hmmm on B6 it cycles from 38-54ms still fairly high even if it does say its average. Guess thats where pc monitors shine with 4ms lag on IPS/VA panels and probably why they cost more per inch than a tv

why not? you can do it at the same time your doing it for the ps4 and x1? why should they get it and not the pc?? it takes no time at all. They want FULL PRICE and DLC/EXPANSION money off us… yeah they can damn well add it. planning years in advance has nothing to do with it. how many years in advance did they plan for the PS4 Pro?? ill tell you… zero years thats how long.

you can keep making stupid excuses that make no sense at all all day long but end of the day they are the ones wanting money off us so they can take a few days out and do it. All the games like now and before yeah they can not bother adding it as no one will care next year, but the big games next year can damn well add it for the price we pay for there product.

Ill guarantee that DICE will patch HDR into BF1 when the monitors start dropping and seeing as AMD and nvidia cut deals with them to sell there games with GPUs theyll make sure to get it added in there.

LG cant fix its input lag with a firmware update. Ive read the B6 has 51 ms and the E6 has 36ms, its to much so have to wait till next years OLED’s. ive seen samsung TV side by side with OLED and atm id give OLED the edge but i wont be buying till 1 years time anyway cus dont need a 4K TV till then

I’m not saying it will be expensive, I’m saying devs have to think years in advance when making games and just because something like HDR is now available and may only take 1% or less of your total game resources to implement does NOT mean that management will authorize that.
As for input lag, HDR and other items tied to it most certainly increase input lag unless the tv manufacturers ensure they code for it properly with the correct hardware. Samsung is going great. LG and Sony are scrambling to update firmware because their lag is in the toilet in comparison to Samsung. The rest of the mfgers are selling partial implementations. :/
