In reply to AndrewTSC. Now you can play an MGS game with Jack Bauer from "24". I still don't understand it myself, the different voice spoiled the otherwise perfect gameplay illusion of MGS V GZ.

maybe Hideo will do a remake of Metal Gear and needs both David and Kiefer.

If David Hayter reprises his role as Big Boss and let’s say Kojima wants Solid Snake to appear alongside Big Boss in the same game, would it rally make sense to have both characters be voiced by same VA? I mean, such a meeting is possible. In this context, a replacement for Big Boss’s VA does make sense. All Im saying, don’t over-analyze this stuff. We barely have any info as it is, and it really doesn’t seem as if Kojima has really had any beef with Hayter for the “past 4 games”, as Meryl’s VA has said. So basically don’t stretch the few facts we know so far. 🙂

Changes are bigger than voice actor though-I mean IGN reporter that has played/seen a private demo pkayed said it was more splinter cell conviction style stealth than traditional mgs-the cqc etc and an executions button were mentioned he did say it might be more like mgs on a proper difficulty rather than the auto aim super easy it was on but still... I remember mgs4 which was my first mgs (im abit too yoing to have gotten into them before I mean first one was released when I was 2 I think) butif it really has changed so much in terms of control, combatand whoke games style I'll be disappointed

me too. But i love mgs so i will still give this a go. Besides Big Boss’s voice changes at some point might as well do it now after he’s had a gigantic coma *ahem* ”I’m afraid its been 9 years”
