The more mature, the more realistic. If Ground Zeros really covers all these aspects of life, it will be a more of an emotional and story heavy game rather than what it always is- MGS4 covered something different than any other game- War in the future, and how it has turned into an economy. No one complained about that, and it was quite mature and a horrifying reality. If Kojima goes with Ground Zeros, he will probably evolutionise story telling and have it become mature and realistic, and no longer will we have the typical Americans win yay, all out action, cowboy wisecracking and dry hollywood scripts in our games. This whole generation has been a evolution for storytelling.

When it comes to Kojima you can never truly believe what he says until you see the final product. Plus I don’t know if I entirely trust this articule.

Ugh, mature themes wouldn’t turn away players unless it did something along the lines of slapping them in the face with, for instance, extreme pro-gayness in the most insultingly retarded way possible. If it isn’t preachy and tasteless, it’ll sell on his name and the MGS series’ legacy alone. If anything stuff like child soldiers being covered in the game just goes along with the series’ history- they’ve always done this kinda stuff. Maybe he just needs to tone down some of the brutality aimed at kids or something, I don’t know.
