theres rumors going around that a character named “david” will be in phantom pain , of course david is solid snake, probably gonna be voiced by david hayter, thus starting the mg1 and 2 remakes. now david hayter wont have to play two characters.

In reply to Brian. Metal Gear doesn't have the S :P Given the change away from Metal Gear Solid: Rising to Metal Gear Rising: Reveangeance to distinguish them as different branches, I'd say that's of note to Hideo Kojima at least.

I am NOT buying this game. I will NOT be supporting Kojima’s decision to replace David Hayter, who is an American and was born in Santa Monica, CA, with Kiefer Sutherland, who is British and was born in Paddington, London, United Kingdom. I can’t see Kiefer as Snake just like I couldn’t and still can’t Daniel Craig playing a cowboy. Solid Snake is a role for an American just like James Bond is a role for a Brit. Solid Snake is a member of the US Army elite special forces unit FOXHOUND. Solid Snake isn’t a member of the UK’s Royal Army.
