Couple hours if you do it all from scratch, adding a graphics card really hard to ever do wrong, I have an 5 year old figure out our by looking at it because similar shapes go together, if by some miracle you find a way to plug it in somewhere wrong it usually won’t break it just won’t do what you want it to. That said buy a pre built and chances are even at the 400 to 500 $ range you’ll beat consoles and no fuss beyond what you’d already have from a console, if you’re so terrified of everything else pc just get a steam box which comes with steam OS loaded and effectively operates like a console, but again with better features. And please don’t be presumptuous about what I know or how much I’ve played, I’m as much of a true gamer as anyone else, again I emphasize it’s really only this latest iteration of consoles I can’t stand. And if you’ve ever played in a hacked or infected lobby you’ve dealt with the console equivalent of a virus. If you’re happy with lesser quality, paying for garbage quality multiplayer that the companies running the servers don’t get paid for that you already pay for Internet access the console and the game , buying over priced games, and all the other limitations associated. It’s fine if you’ve got Stockholm syndrome but don’t push it on others with disinformation, the truth speaks volumes.

PC cannot share play either other wise my PC friends would have told me so and they know way more than you do.

Also Ie seeb 7 players on one PC tower but only with 7 monitors so its the same thing as having to buy 7 different PCs because nobody has room in there house for 2 monitors let alone 7. Consoles can do 2-4 players on one TV. Number of players also depends on the game.
