MS is a bit stupid with its studios. take lionhead, they wanted make a proper fable but were forced to make Legends that none of them wanted make then MS cancelled it shut down the studio and gave fable 4 to playground. Makes no sense. Id imagine they would shut down some underperforming EA studios to. Maybe thats why EA shut down viscerals star wars cus apparently single player games dont make enough money! EA is worth about $35billion. Or at least thats how much there stock is worth.So if they wanted to buy EA they may have to shell out that much or MS could just try to buy a controlling share in the company.

Well MS is not buying EA. I doubt EA is even willing to sell. Also I think there is way to many investors in EA to add to those at MS. Valve seems more logical. Heck for the price of EA they could buy Ubisoft, 2k and bunch more. They probably have a partnership with EA for marketing deals like for Anthem. some one probably misheard.

In reply to Psionicinversion. Dead Space, Mass Effect, Battlefield, The Sims, Medal of Honour and Crysis and Titanfall to name a few. I'd think development studios would be just as important. EA has a couple decent ones. But all of it being worth $35 billion is a bit hard to imagine.
