Phantom Dust and Crackdown aren’t going to ship until after NEXT E3! Talk to me about those when they are actually showing real gameplay and not just pre-rendered cutscenes! What they showed for THIS year was Halo remastered and a bunch of games no one cares about and will NOT sell hardware.

It depends. I heard people who, after the announcement of things like Phantom Dust and Crackdown, said they sent in their pre-order for a Kinectless Xbox One. Others loved the tongue-in-cheek Sunset Overdrive. Let’s look at it this way: with the exception of Nintendo, is there a single game to sell a console? The closest is arguably Halo and that seems doubtful nowadays.
As of right now, games aren’t what are selling the PS4 or Xbox Ones. It’s hype and word of mouth. Even in regards to games, we don’t really know what Microsoft and Sony are up to, most of their first-party studios have been rather quiet.

Agree they needed exclusive megatons and dropped some cool games but nothing totally gripping.

MS LED the show with a multiplatform game! Then talked about Forza, then showed FOUR MORE multiplatform games! The “Big gun” for the show is apparently Halo 1-4 regurgitated. Great. NOT ONE GAME SHOWN is going to convince the general public to buy Xbox vs. PS4. NOT ONE! This was a good (not great) showing for fans of Xbox, but for everyone else, the show was a dud.
