Well that’s the thing…most people are computer stupid. People who aren’t might not like how Microsoft has become more heavy handed with updates but they kinda had to.

There are millions and millions of windows machines that go unpatched forever. These machines are security risks, they get turned into botnets and do harm to others on the internet.

So I fully understand Microsofts approach and if there is anyone to blame its all the users who are too stupid to patch their systems which is insanely easy from win xp onward.
