Hello Ravi,
Forgive me for correcting you, but the 5 million is shipped to retailers not sold to customers. MS will try to spend this anyway they can since they are losing ground every week to PS4. Furthermore, it is sad sad reality that every where you go across the globe the stores are having to drop the cost by $50 U.S. or more to get people to buy the console, plus throwing in the Xbox One savior title "Titanfall" and some cases "Forza 5" aka Forza microtransactions. (PS4 still beat out Xbox One in the U.S. in March which was suppose to be Xbone's month of glory).
Sony has the better console and far more games than MS's Xbone. I predict that MS will drop the price at E3 or by late summer to match the PS4 in hopes that people will buy it. That is just pathetic when the consoles have been out just around 7 months after launch (at the time frame of E3).
I was a hardcore Xbox fanboy (Xbox and Xbox 360, nearly 10 years) and switched to Sony last year after I got tired of MS's crap Kinect and XBL Gold which is horrible compared to PS Plus
Cheers!!!
