In reply to BrianW. Sony's PS4 Pro is directly competing with MS Xbox One X now. When you look at a lot these comparisions, half of these multiplats ran better on the Pro, or both ran the games the same. Also the differences in the visuals of games are minute, with the X biggest advantage being it's resolution boost, with most of other assets being the same. The X isn't soundly winning these comparisons like people and some of these articles were hyping the it would do. The Pro is holding it's own well.

In reply to BrianW. There's more 1080p HDR TVs on the market and some very good for gaming, and lets be honest people still own more 1080p TVs and devices than 4k TVs and devices at the moment anyway.

In reply to Gamez Rule. Ok so there is at least one 1080p TV with HDR. But at $450(?) that is quite pricey when you can get a 4K+HDR TV for less then that. And Sony can't directly compete with the Xbox One X on how better the games play on the Xbox One X. To be able to do that they would need a stronger console. Maybe when the PS5 finally comes out.
