Actually Sony does have Early Access capabilities. I had Dungeon Defenders 2 when it was in Alpha, I had games that I beta tested. I don’t get what you mean by “Don’t have early access on PS4”

Dungeon Defenders 2 was also broken to the point of sometimes being unplayable. Playing by myself there was like a 4 second lag in running around so I constantly found myself off a cliff unless I was playing by small movements, in specific directions, and even then I’d still find myself off a cliff.

People keep saying there’s no early access, but that’s kinda contrary. What is the actual limitation?

It’s fun. I enjoy it. I play it on PC, it’s on sale for 50 cents. Like getting all excited for it is incredibly laughable because if you are enjoying the game, you got it for no more than $5.

I wouldn’t mind it being on PS4, but I doubt I’m going to play it that much even if it does hit PS4. I usually just play it in 2v2 mode with a friend who streams it.

I mean first of all I never go to NeoGaf I’m not even sure if I’ve signed up for an account there. So lulz. Then there’s the fact that you have to talk about how much money you spend on your hobby. The only attacks I did against you were the ones where you get all excited about a console that will be obsolete in a year or 2. It has nothing to do with Sony or Sony history it has EVERYTHING to do with Sony and their chipsets. Every 6 months Sony doesn’t release the PS5 it gets a substantial power boost because when they DO make it they’ll be using smaller nm and bigger chipsets. Developers have told me straight up that had Sony waited till 2017 the difference in power between the Pro and the One X would be negligible and looking at hardware forcasts based on power and performance gains in 10nm and 7nm chipsets compared to the 12 in the One X I think it is, and the 16 in the S and the Pro, I’m greatly inclined to believe that DEVELOPERS are correct.

But since you don’t have facts you have to personally insult me. So I gotta big smile on my face as you keep digging that hole and if Sony doesn’t allow PS4 games to be playable on the PS5 in boost mode I’m just gonna swap over to PC and Nintendo and you’ll have the last laugh I guess.

But meanwhile you’ll either get a switch and have to kinda make the argument that floating point operations per second doesn’t mean a whole lot, or you won’t get a switch and you’ll miss out on a lot of experiences. Switch and PS4 have the most versatile experiences. Xbox One X, it looks pretty but otherwise it’s generic. I don’t care about 4k what so ever. I care about HDR and even a base PS4 original can do that, and I’m waiting for t.v.s to get better, because none of them are at a level and price that I feel like jumping in on.

And when I talk about “experienceing” the games I mean enjoying a variety of games even if they happen to be pixelated, even if they happen to not be 60 million dollar production titles. I’m talking about enjoying games like Crypt of the Necrodancer or stupid stuff like You Don’t Know Jack, stuff that means absolutely NOTHING when it comes to 4k. I’m enjoying my Switch, I love Zelda, VERY few games compare with what Zelda is. It’s a challenging game if you want it to be, it’s a forgiving game if you grind enough, it can take 100 hours or it can take 2 and you’ll get rewarded with a higher challenge the faster you beat it, while looking pretty good especially if your t.v. upscales properly it looks way better than on a computer screen.

But whether it’s running 720p, 1080p, 900p I don’t know of any game on Xbox One I’d rather play.

lol you gonna cry? Im enjoying a 55in 4K HDR screen, 31in soundbar, 4K HDR gaming and movies,no hassle, in comfort with family and friends local/online or alone if I wish. The only thing left on my list to buy is a set of Dolby Atmos compatible headphones. lol please explain how this hinders instead of enhances my ability to experience a game. You had better keep your expectations in check about the power of any future Playstation hardware. Sony history isnt on your side.

Then again it’s a $5 game that I’d have to start all over again collection wise from scratch, so maybe it’s a good thing I can only play it on PC.

PS3 had 3x the teraflops of an Xbox 360 but no one was making that argument back then. Teraflops is utterly 100% meaningless. How fast you can move decimals around doesn’t exactly equate to whether or not it will stutter some frames while you spin the camera around a waterfall.

You’re basically arguing that the first 10-15 million Xbox One owners don’t matter because the Xbox One is less powerful than the PS4 and only runs at 900p. The Xbox One S is only marginally better than the PS4, so you might as well be throwing away 90-99% of the Xbox Userbase and why?

You don’t want a Switch because it’s not close enough to an Xbox One X?
