The Xbox 360 severely damaged the gaming industry. It became a cesspool of western mediocrity. The industry was split down the middle. Microsoft only cares about western games and Xbox loyalist fanatics only cared about western games. But the PS4 is unifying everything like the PS1 and PS2 did.

It’s because of two or three hype games (Halo, Gears, Tomb Raider) that they are assuming EVERYONE in the world wants to play…

But apart from TR (which will be on PC) it’s mostly just people who already own an Xbone that will be excited about those games.

More of the same stale shooters do not sell consoles or make people jump ship.
