Namco Bandai creates a new game development studio

Namco Bandai has released a press release which states that they are setting up a new games development studio.

The studio will have 1000 staff and will also create new IPs. It will be formed on April 2, in Shinogawa, Tokyo and will be responsible for Tekken, Soul Calibur, Taiko Drum Master, Tales and Gundam franchises.

It will be headed by Hajime Nakatani, who aims to enhance the studio’s productivity.

Namco has invested a lot in this studio, and hopes that it will give them a good boost in the future when it comes to game development.
