OK I'll admit I was wrong that it doesn't happen often but based on the article that was what Eurogamer hinted at weeks ago. I have no problem admitting to a mistake.

So yes it doesn't drop ALL THE TIME. It does however drop and since its not locked at 60 it does have screen tearing. So I was both right and wrong. It isn't a stable 60, it isn't "rock solid" and it has screen tear.
I will unfortunately have to play it at a locked 30fps because I hate screen tear with a passion.

Wrong. What you actually said:

"They aren't showing it because its got tearing like crazy"

"The frame rate dropping below 60 has to be happening pretty often for them to add a 30fps mode."

You were wrong. It has almost no framedrops from 60 over hours of playtime according to Digital Foundry.

Also note how multiple posters (including you) insult me in this article despite me not doing the same.

" To answer the question everyone's been asking, frame-rate isn't locked to 60fps, but The Last of Us Remastered does spend the vast majority of its time at the optimal refresh. Problems can kick in during busy combat scenes, and just like the PS3 version, particles and transparent effects in particular can take their toll - the first confrontation with a fungus-spewing Bloater sees frame-rate hit a minimum of 48fps."

You left out some bits. I wasn't wrong. I said it wasn't going to be locked 60fps which means unless you play at 30fps there is screen tearing at some points.

I never said it was going to look bad, I never said it wouldn't hit 60. I said it wouldn't be constant 60.

So get a life.

You were lying and wrong about The Last of Us Remastered solid 60 fps framerate even after I corrected you multiple times.

You are constantly wrong and spreading lies, FUD, and hatred about Sony and PS4. Admit you were wrong.

Once again, you are wrong. The Last of Us Remastered runs at a solid 1080p 60 fps.
