The upcoming Batman: Arkham Origins, the third installment in the acclaimed Batman: Arkham series, has been steadily drumming it hype via small reveals over the last few months. The latest in this line of reveals is one that comes via the latest screenshots, that show us that Barbara Gordon (the daughter of Commissioner Gordon, who, in the comics, variously is Batgirl and The Oracle), will be in the game.
That is, of course, literally all we know, though. We don’t know what capacity she will appear in the game in (is she just Barbara Gordon, is she Batgirl, is she The Oracle?), for instance, or if she even has a major role to play at all.
Still though, along with everything else that we know of the game, it is coming together to look like some genuinely great fan service for long time fans of the Caped Crusader and his adventures.
