Activision plan to air the trailer at half-time, but at this point it is unknown what the trailer entails, most likely another cinematic to set the tone of the game.
This news comes after Black Ops 2 pre-orders are set to break the records established by Modern Warfare 3, despite a very limited advertising campaign so far. According to Amazon, Black Ops 2 pre-orders are treble those of Black Ops in 2010.
Eric Hirshberge, CEO of Activision Publishing stated that he was “incredibly pleased” with Black Ops 2 pre-orders thus far, “which in the first week since reveal are tracking ahead of the record-breaking pace set by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3”.
