Nearly three weeks later, as DriveClub continues its inexorable march towards finally being the game that was promised to us nearly a year and a half ago now, more and more players are now finally able to go online. That said, even if they do, they might find frustration, as apparently, DriveClub’s matchmaking isn’t the best in the world.
Well, Evolution Studios has just issued an update to help with that- a new server update that went live today will help with improving the matchmaking experience by matching players up based on the quality of their internet connection. A pretty big deal when you consider the instability of the underlying code to begin with.
They are also promising another update this week.
“We know we have been quiet over the last few days which was because we wanted to offer you news when it has a meaningful impact on your experience of DriveClub. The feedback you offered has been invaluable to the team because it’s informed our updates to iron out the major issues affecting you as quickly as possible,” they said on their Facebook (membership may be required).
Fine, guys. Stop saying the same things over and over again, and just tell me when you’ll have things running. I’d ask about the PS+ edition as well, but at this point, it’s clear that’s not happening.
