We’re a little over a month away from the launch of New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, a Switch remaster of the Wii U launch title, and its New Super Luigi U DLC that Nintendo announced at the last general Nintendo Direct they held. Now, ahead of that, the company is already letting you pre-load the game to your system (assuming you get it digitally at all, of course). You can do so on the eShop now.
In keeping with the general trend of Switch games, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is an extremely small game as far as file size goes—it comes in at 2.5GB, which is marginally bigger than the Wii U game, in spite of updated graphics, and the inclusion of New Super Luigi U.
To convince you to pre-order the game digitally, Nintendo is also offering double Gold Coins if you purchase it early—instead of getting 5% of the price back in Gold Coins like usual, you will get 10%. That should be good incentive to splurge.
New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe launches on Nintendo Switch on January 11, 2019.
