New World Has Been Delayed Once Again To August

Beefing up end game content was said to be the main reason for the delay.

New World

We have been hearing about Amazon’s New World for quite some time. The MMO has been one of the games the company has been working on to push its gaming initiative. Unfortunately, it seems the game has really hit some snags, and now there is another one as New World has gotten yet another delay.

In the most recent development update, it was announced that the game had now been pushed to August of this year. It actually had no solid release date, only aiming for a Spring 2021 release, but it’s stated they were unable to make that time frame. It’s said the biggest reason for this new delay is beefing up endgame content, which they think is important to get as polished and ready as possible for launch.

For context, the game was at one point scheduled to release August 25th, 2020, meaning this new delay to August 31st has put it over a year past that last date. It’s now set to come to PC on that date, so fingers crossed this will be the time.
