Monolith Soft’s upcoming Wii U exclusive JRPG, Xenoblade Chronicles X, just got a brand new video; this highly exhaustive video shows us, among other things, the game’s massive world map, the world itself, a day and night cycle, and the weather effects in the game. It also introduces us to the game’s cast of characters, which seems to be a bit different from the anime tropes that usually populate Japanese role playing games.
The game itself still looks stunningly impressive, and each time we see it, we can’t help but be impressed by its style, its scale, and its ambition; the fact that something like this is running on the Wii U speaks wonders to Mmonolith Soft’s ability.
Xenoblade Chronicles X is due out in Japan this April, and in the west later this year. A bundle for the game has been announced in Japan. Stay tuned for more coverage of the title.
