if people would just trust me. First sony will try and milk the ps3, maybe to pay for expensive research of chip and bluray from last gen. Microsoft is in the position to competely compete. MS needs to not feed into Nintendo’s lie that specs do not matter. That tricked worked last gen, but a lot of that was motion control. That will not happen. People want gaming to come past what we have ever seen, just as the atari to nes, now we want current and pc to ‘nex gen’. No company is brave. But if you trust me I am telling you that this is the time of core. We will spend more, save, wait for the very best.
Whoever comes out with the very best high tech spec on a big company gaming platform will win, and whoever comes soon. Sony could steal this, but they might wait or not risk best specs. It is all up to Microsoft, a rich and powerful tech company, they can do it. And we as gamers and fans will have what we actually want.
And even if gimics can sell, we want specs before gimics, graphics and gameplay. You cannot look at the last gen. Times change. Why else would a wiiu be coming out? because they need to compete. So lets say wait. Let xbox and ps3 milk last gen for more profit. Why, because nintendo did not threaten the last gen to improve. But there is no singular industry thrust to compare new consoles coming out, which are now becoming the centers of our living room. Games are considered the number one entertainment. And with tv, social and gaming interface.
So I’m saying trust me, the time of the core is now and whoever blows our mind with the best tech and comes out the soonest will win.(and could almost put nintendo out of business and teach them a lesson.) (p.s. and people hate clay christenson’s “disrutpive tech” theory for game consoles. Use his theory wherever you want but not our gaming machines. p.s.s and nintendo will try their hardest to frustrate new ps and xbox from coming out saying money and risk, or gameplay matters and wii won last gen. Trust me, no normal human say spec dont matter unless they are being brainwashed. Nintendo is trying to stop competition and keep specs low so that they can keep selling lowend hardware for profit. But us gamers do NOT want that. We want real specs. So nintendo will have more people, probably hired just to act as fans and support of nintendo to manipulate. This is not what we want. If nintendo fans werent born bread of nintendo theyde have nothing.

And even sony and xbox might say lets milk the last gen longer. This is not what we want. We really want new nex gen consoles now. And that will make them money more than anything else. But real ‘people’ and real ‘fans’ are getting kinda pissed off. Its a 3 way monopoly between xbox, ps, and nintendo and now they won’t just give us what we really want!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
