Nintendo Australia has announced that the 3DS has sold 200,000 units in the country in 37 weeks. It beat every other console that sold 200k in a faster time frame. The price drop would have helped Nintendo a lot here, as the 3DS is pretty much selling well in almost all regions.
It remains to be seen how much 3DS sells next year though. But for now, Nintendo has had a successful holiday period.
