Nintendo Announces Xenoblade Chronicles Exclusively for the New 3DS

Plus additional software is being made exclusively for new 3DS revision too.

When Nintendo announced the New Nintendo 3DS today, it might have permanently removed any distinction that there is between a new system and a revision. With new controls, a beefed up processor, better screen, and a rumored double the RAM and VRAM, the New Nintendo 3DS is basically an all new system for all intents and purposes.

As such, it is also getting its own exclusive software, such as when Nintendo announced that Xenoblade Chronicles will be coming exclusively to the New 3DS. That’s right, if you own any existing model of the handheld, you’re not actually going to be able to play this game, you need to buy a New 3DS.

That’s not all, though- Nintendo also confirmed that there is more, additional software in development exclusively for the New 3DS. This is basically a kind of Gameboy-Gameboy Color upgrade, except Gameboy Color came ten years after the original Gameboy. Nintendo might have some pretty angry customers on its hands.
