Super Mario Bros was a SEQUEL. Mario was introduced as “Jumpman” in 81 and appeared in DK Jr in 82 as Mario. He had his own game in 83 with Luigi (Mario Bros). This is the 25th anniversary of the game but everyone saying he’s 25 is WRONG.

lol, you guys are lame. Ratchet and Clank is the real deal, or maybe Sonic, or Jak. Mario is kiddy and colourful, it sucks. And I’ve played SMG2, it sucks, so don’t give me that “you’ve obv not played a mario game” shit.

Mario is awesome, especially SMG2. I didn’t like Sunshine, but all the other Mario games are very good. Happy birthday, Mario.. You’re awesome. Thanks for making the gaming industry what it is today! 🙂
