Nintendo delayed the Nintendo Direct presentation it had scheduled for last week in the wake of the earthquake in Japan; however, since then, the company has been on radio silence regarding when the Direct may be held, in spite of promising fans when it announced the delay that the new date and time for the presentation would be announced “in the near future”.
It looks like that may be as early as this week. Nintendo Life reports that, as per its sources, the Nintendo Direct presentation has now been moved to September 13, for 3pm PT and 6pm ET, which would be the exact same times as originally intended, but just pushed back by a week. This would also coincide with the moved time for a planned Splatoon 2 update, originally planned for last week, that data miners found.
This is just a rumor for now, but Nintendo Life’s sources were correct last week, so I’m inclined to put my faith in them.
