In reply to <a href="https://gamingbolt.com/nintendo-e3-2014-digital-event-review#comment-234734">Donalyn Dovale-Brown</a>.

They confirmed it was being shown in-engine but not from a camera angle used in the game. It played out like an in-game cut scene. I would've liked to have seen something close to the gameplay we're expecting.

We've been waiting on Zelda now for a while and that was as much of a glimpse as we saw of Star Wars or Uncharted 4. Maybe I was just expecting too much for the Zelda reveal. I also think the E3 show floor footage of Hyrule Warrior look enjoyable to fans of the 'warriors' series but not something that gets me excited.
Captain Toad, Yoshi and obviously the SSB announcements were great!

Hmm.. I feel like Nintendo is getting the benefit of the doubt because this was a do-or-die presentation for them. I was disappointed the video of Zelda was not captured from an in-game camera and was devoid of any sense of how the game would feel while the player controlled link.

I think they had a very strong showing but with most of the games announced for 2015 (and looking decidedly less graphic intense than what we just saw at Sony and MS), I think this was a B- at best. Nintendo has shown that the Wii U must take a colorful, first party approach to this gen because it simply can't keep up with the big dogs in horsepower. I will be VERY curious to see the comparisons between the Wii U and PS4 versions of Project Cars and Watch Dogs.

If we were to measure these presentations by the strength of what the 3 companies have coming in 2015, I think Sony takes the cake with MS and Nintendo winning in the short term before xmas.
