The Nintendo Switch continues to pick up steam- while the system has been worth owning since launch thanks to its excellent hardware design, and a steady stream of top tier exclusives from Nintendo, and it has been selling in the appropriate quantities, more and more third parties are jumping on board with the system after seeing its success, too.
A lot of those third parties seem to be smaller, independent developers- who seem to have taken to the Switch like nothing else. The Switch seems to be a true PS Vita successor in that regard, because it is getting a lot of indie games going forward- and yesterday, Nintendo held an indie game showcase, where they announced a spate of upcoming indie games for the Switch- some exclusive, some console exclusive, some timed exclusive, and others coming to everything.
These games include Super Meat Boy Forever, Golf Story, Shovel Knight: King Knight’s Royal Adventure, Poly Bridge, Earth Atlantis, Steamworld Dig 2, Yolo and the Celestial Elephants, Morphies Law, Nine Parchments, and of course, as we reported already, Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes. There are many, many more games- check out the full presentation by Nintendo below for yourself to get more details.
