Nintendo has announced a number of changes for its company. First of all, Tatsumi Kimishima will be stepping down from his role as President in June. Furthermore, Nintendo is also making quite a few executive changes including in the roles of President and Executive Officers.
First and foremost, Kimishima-san will be replaced as the President by Shuntaro Furukawa. Satoru Shibata who was formerly the President of Nintendo of Europe will be leaving this role so as to become a Director. Additionally, Shinya Takahashi who was earlier General Manager of Entertainment Planning & Development Division will now take on the role of Managing Executive Officer. Also, Yoshiaki Koizumi who is Deputy General Manager of Entertainment Planning & Development Division will take on the new role of Exective Officer among the board of Directors.
Hopefully, these people will be able to take Nintendo to new heights while working in their new roles. There will be a number of other changes in the organization, including the retirement of some members and the promotion of some others. You can red all about the changes here.
