I remember the Rush series but it is more of an arcade racer….if they want to bring back an arcade racer, give us an updated Cruisin’ game….that game was awesome on N64 as well as being a Nintendo exclusive…Rush was on PlayStation, Dreamcast and N64….If Nintendo wants to make it at ALL with the NX, they are going to have to have some SERIOUS 3rd Party support. As much as I hate to say it, put the newest Call of Duty on it (I say that because I despise that series, but it does sell) and don’t scale it back…don’t hold off on the DLC map packs, offer EXCLUSIVE Nintendo content for the game…even if its just a “timed” exclusive. Get some STRONG first party titles on the market for launch…..If you go look at a list of the NES launch titles, you’ll see something for everyone….racing (Excite Bike), sports (Baseball, Golf, 10-Yard Fight), platforming (Super Mario Bros.), Shooting (Duck Hunt and Hogan’s Alley)…all on launch…..Yea, the Wii U had a decent library at launch (Call of Duty, Assassins Creed, Batman, Super Mario U, ZombiU) but other than Super Mario U, it wasn’t much as far as original content or AAA titles….ZombiU is being ported to other systems now….NX is going to need a strong line up after the “failure” of the Wii U launch…..when it was launched, you could easily go into a store and buy one….when the PS4 and Xbox One was released, they were sold out….people were having to use “in-stock tracking” sites to find one…..
