Nintendo hasnt been a competitor for Sony/MS since the N64 days. They dont care about taking over your living room…they are more of a toy company (that happens to make digital video entertainment) and are more than happy to sell you something that lives besides all the other crap you might have for entertainment.

I for one will be looking forward to buying one as it seems like its the perfect device for casual and local group party play.
