Look at the actual specs. The issues with multiplats had more to do with the fact that developer’s knew how to optimize for the 360 and PS3, which they did not know hot to do for the Wii U. Typically, graphics improve dramatically until they slow down roughly 3 years after the console’s launch. This is because of that being roughly the time it took for games to start releasing from developer’s that had already gotten their head around the system. As the Wii U was more like twice as powerful, not 10x as powerful as you’d expect from a next gen console, their inexperience with the Wii U platform overruled their better specs.

Nope, not true. In many ways the Wii U was weaker than the 360 and PS3. Most multiplats that came out on the Wii U were worse than the previous generation versions. It was just an all around poorly designed console, with little thought put into its ability to run modern generation games. They put all their effort into the gamepad, leaving very little remaining for the console itself.

the difference between them and other companies though is they value quality and gameplay more than third party AAA devs. they release the full game to you. bun burger cheese toppings and condiments. with tho occasional fries in the form of dlc. whereas most other Overly capitalist companies give you the bottom bun only then charge for every other piece of the burger then ask if you want fries. nintendo has a high standard of quality. its why there is a huge gap between releases, they take their time instead of pulling a sega and rushing out an incomplete mess and call it a game. they make sure to deliver quality before all else. sure the vc can be handled better. but they take their time making the titles run as they originally did.

Nintendo “care about the experience of the players more than money.” really? Is that why they make players purchase the same VC games over and over on each console and handheld? Is that why they slowly trickle out VC games a few at a time even though the entire NES and SNES game libraries have been full emulated by hobbiest PC programmers for 15+ years? Nintendo is great but don’t kid yourself that they aren’t out to make money just like any other corporation. Nothing wrong with that. I believe in capitalism.

also the time it takes to develop a game with their seal of approval for quality is a lot longer than they are expected to do it. they have done a wonderful job making and selling their own product and independently earning their money. only the 3rd parties profit from the current system in place, and nintendo is doing just fine without those leeches.
