They have performance issues with Xbox One using their engine. The thing is, it works for mobile games? Sure.

Good luck with console quality games on ARM using Frosbite.

On top of the thousands of 'PC' titles (thanks to backward compatibility) a PC can also play NES, SNES, GB/C, GBA, N64, DS, GC, Wii, 3DS and Wii-U...

Ummm... so what can Nintendo NX play again?

Console vendors are so greedy it makes them short sighted & very stupid. Sony, Microsoft (XBox) and Nintendo have all squandered their past game libraries by abandoning their past customers who are stuck with games they can't play anymore. Why won't these vendors bring their libraries with them with flawless emulation and a way customers could register their games for life on their platform? Imagine if all "Playstation" games could be played on a "Playstation" console! It would make perfect sense. You would never leave the ecosystem because you could not afford to walk away from your library.

If I purchase a game on Steam, or GOG - they will look after upgrades to make it play on the next version of OS without costing me a cent. They make my existing library the reason why I can never abandon them... I have this feeling it's getting too late for console vendors to figure it out.

I don't think that is really true. Frostbite is highly scalable. And if NX is really weak, which I think it's gonna be (not complaining), they have Frostbite GO engine for mobile that should work. The problem I think is that EA games just don't sell as well on Nintendo platforms as they do on Xbox and Playstation. And that can be enough to stop them from wanting to invest.

They have not reveal it yet so don't judge. Rumor has it that NX will be powered by the tegra X2 and if so it's got plenty of power. Since Nintendo is the only innovator in the video gaming segment.

Hmmm who wants EA games on Nintendo anyway? Yeah sure a nice bonus if they did but it's not really the right market.
The great thing about Nintendo is they provide a real alternative to dudebro XB and PS.

The main problem for them is spec. They're having problems with their games running on Xbox One, imagine how their games would run on a smartphone GPU? They'd need to build an entire different game just for NX, if that ARM rumor turns out to be true.
