Nintendo Switch Game File Sizes Revealed On Japanese Website

Largely manageable.

Thankfully, it seems like most Nintendo Switch games won’t actually be too large, and even with the paltry 32GB of on board storage that you get, you should be able to have a few of them on hand at all times. The Japanese Nintendo Switch website has been updated with file sizes for for various upcoming Nintendo Switch games, and it looks like the games won’t be too big.

The largest game is, bafflingly enough, Dragon Quest Heroes 1+2, which is so big, it needs an SD card to run at all. That apart, however, Zelda is the largest these games get, and Zelda caps out at 13.4GB. Other games generally are sub-10GB, so you should be able to have more than a few of them installed.

Only digital Switch games need to be installed, and you can always augment the storage on your system via a microSD card of any capacity up to 2TB. Still, though, one wishes Nintendo had better storage options on the Switch.
